Adding colour and pattern

Updated: Jun 22

Wow your guests with colour.

I've designed this combination to compliment a spring/summer english cottage garden.

Perfect for outdoor tea parties, barbecues, festival & relaxed type celebrations.

Bunting "in or out of fashion?"

It's not on trend currently. I personally don't follow what's on trend, I go for what I like or what looks best "in or out". Feeling confident, you should too.

When designing this setup I felt yes bunting has it's place. The benefit of bunting is it's easy to make either by you or a relative. You can personalise by cutting up your old clothes, great talking point when people recognise a piece.

What goes with what? How to mix and match?

1. Start with your inspiration/favourite piece

2. Choose different types of patterns in varying sizes with a common colour as your inspiration piece

3. Mix big prints with smaller prints

4. Add the unlikely, you may be surprised
